Brandan Borgos, Esq. is the owner of Borgos Law, PLLC, a law firm that aims to serve underrepresented clients and safeguard human rights in the areas of criminal defense and family law. He has previously worked in electronic discovery in lawsuits, mergers and acquisitions, and government investigation.
In 2014, he raised close to $80,000 as the endorsed Attorney General candidate for the Independence Party, where he saw the benefits in sticking to a positive image and message throughout the campaign as he built coalitions of candidates for increasing access to debates and supporting medical cannabis patients.
Brandan graduated with his B.A. in English from St. John’s University in Collegeville, Minnesota. He graduated with his J.D. from the University of St. Thomas School of Law in Minneapolis in 2010. He is the former Board Chair for MN NORML (the Minnesota Chapter of the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws) and helps the Children’s Tumor Foundation with a charity run each year. His passion lies in advocating for patients’ rights.
As Vice President, Brandan provides guidance for the organization, makes presentations to professional associations, acquires new talent, and assists in overseeing Sensible Minnesota’s strategic direction.
